Grand Bahama is long enough that you can take a road trip from one end to the next, enjoying three unique experiences along the way. The eastern end of the island blends natural beauty, with attractions like Ben's Cave, Gold Rock Beach, and Owl's Hole, alongside the charm of traditional Bahamian family island living.

While many visitors are familiar with Bishop's in East End, just a bit further along the road lies the settlement of Pelican Point, home to a true hidden gem – Pelicans on the Beach Restaurant. Tucked away on a stunning stretch of beach, this cozy spot offers a relaxed, warm, and genuine family island vibe.

Pelicans on the Beach is open Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. and begins service at 1 p.m. on Sundays. The menu is filled with Bahamian classics, including fried, steamed, or grilled fish, cracked conch, BBQ ribs, cracked lobster, grilled conch, cracked chicken, panny cakes, and conch fritters.
