Our brunch series continues with the weekly Sunday buffet brunch at the British Colonial Hotel’s Tamarind Market Place, conveniently located on Bay Street. This brunch is a great option for families, serving a wide range of international and local dishes that cater to all tastes. Whether you’re in the mood for authentic Bahamian flavors or familiar international favorites, the buffet has something for everyone.

The buffet includes a large selection of fresh fruits (including locally grown fruits like juju plums), a wide selection of meat options including oxtail, whole fried fish, and stuffed Cornish hens. Other stations include fresh seafood, pasta, soups, salads, a meat carving station, and an assortment of hot and cold sides. And, for those with pickier eaters, there’s a station dedicated to kid favorites like chicken tenders and pizza.

Drink options include fresh pressed juices, fruit punch, and lemonade.

The Sunday buffet brunch runs from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., making it a perfect way to spend a leisurely afternoon with the family. The buffet is $62.50 for adults, including taxes and gratuity. For children 12 and under, the price is half, and kids under 3 can enjoy the meal for free. Bottomless mimosas are also available for an additional $20.

Whether you’re a Bahamian or a visitor, the Tamarind Market Place at the British Colonial Hotel offers an unforgettable Sunday brunch experience that’s perfect for families looking to indulge in a delicious meal together. Food Suggestions: A few of our favorite dishes include the flavorful fried fish, which is a true Bahamian classic, the velvety pumpkin bisque and the decadent raspberry cheesecake. Also, don't miss out on the bread selection.
